 | Brett has extensive experience in world-class businesses such as Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, JP Morgan Chase, ABN AMRO and BNP Paribas. The knowledge he gained from these organisations enabled him to play a key role in developing WISDOM. Over the past decade Brett has played a senior developmental role with these and other companies, project-managing and implementing change. In Brett's earlier years with KPMG, he was involved with the audit and computer audit of five of South Africa's six biggest banks, moving on to operational risk management. | |
In more recent years, a selection of Brett's activities have included:
• Being a key member of the Management Team on a global project, which went from inception to live in 8 months – this was with another Consultant Keith Everett;
• Developing Analytical Trading Tools for one of the top Proprietary Trading Desks in the world;
• As well as working Mission Critical Trading Systems for other Blue Chip Investment Banks;
• And Detailed involvement in consolidation into global Risk Management Systems of disparate information so that overall views of Clients could be obtained.
Brett's formal qualifications include degrees in Commerce with honours in Accounting and a BSc (majoring in computer science and theoretical physics), and he is a Chartered Accountant. Among the many software systems with which he is familiar are C++, .Net with C#, Oracle, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Macromedia and Linux Operating System.
